Sometimes I think that it is fine to just exist.
Until reality makes me pay for it so I get back to it:
Ironically, "Don' think, just exist" it says,
"and while you are at it, say something about what you think."
It seems to me that the reality wants us all,
to forget about the existence.
Or something like that...
Heja was born in 1990, Antalya. He is an elder son of a family of 4 with Kurdish origins. As a result of socio-economic reasons of his parents who has migrated from east to west and the effects of touristic city he was born in, in his childhood, he was too much confused about what to adjust. In effect, he searched for the meaning of life in middle class dreams.
As he grew up, "the loneliness" of recurrent political turmoil, and the shadow of the state policies of discrimination and nepotism caused him to try out almost all forms of art
and;
(quote from his friends)
"he never shut his mouth."
He is interested in subjects such as, free thinking, failure to resolve and ambiguity and he is using multidisciplinary approach to tackle these topics. The resulting works are usually rooted from his discoveries from long term voyages to different parts of the world, his stubbornness to empathize until the differences don't matter anymore and his passion towards unknown.
He is an 2009 AFSer.
He has graduated from METU Industrial Design in 2015
and received his degree of master 1 in sustainable design in Nice, France in 2018.
